A little History about our Treat Center.......Since 1996!
We began the "Treat Center at Young's Farm" in Dewey, AZ back in 1996. John and Kathi Gaspar, who learned the popcorn business from best friends, Don and Karen Mader, knew that they had an excellent product and approached The Young's about the possibility of opening a "treat center" at Young's Farm in Dewey, AZ., while customers were shopping for their free range chickens, turkeys and farm fresh ambrosia sweet corn.
After some negotiation, John added his 12' X 15' "Treat Center" stand to the farm, right next to the restaurant in the produce area.
In 1997 Gary Young approached John about making Homemade Ice Cream, he then added, malts, shakes, caramel apples, frozen chocolate covered bananas, all the good old fashioned treats you remember as a kid!
John and Kathi always dreamed of owning a Popcorn Shop on Whiskey Row in Prescott, AZ. and wanted to expand their small stand at Young's Farm into a year round business. Together, their hard work, planning, market research, elbow grease, creativity, and tenacity enabled them to accomplish their Dream in 2002. "Treat Center On Courthouse Square", opened in the old "Sam Hill" building. With the original 16 foot high tin ceilings, it's a great setting to remember all the old fashioned treats.
Consistency of Freashness, Quality, and Value are the upmost importance in the growth of "Treat Center on Courthouse Square". All products are produced without preservatives.
